Journey to the Center of the Earth

"The Journey to the Center of the Earth" is a classic sci-fi book by Jules Verne. The book has a lot of settings throughout the book.The main character, Harry, is traveling with his uncle, Professor Von Hardwigg, and their guide, Hans.

They travel through meadows, misty fogs, rocky hills, and snow-topped mountains. They traveled mostly on horseback. They even traveled underground, where they saw crystals and drips of natural glass, they also traveled through a volcano.


When they arrive at the center of the Earth, its beautiful, its filled with gardens with peculiar plants. It even has beaches with exotic animals. There is the Central Sea which is much bigger than the Mediterranean Sea, and in it lives monstrous sea creatures.

Throughout the book they suffer from health conditions, such as, dehydration, fatigue, hunger, and losing conscious. But they eventually found a way back to the surface of the Earth and returned home safely.
